Hi,

My name's Alex and I make graphite and occasionally charcoal drawings on paper. I aim for a realistic finish, and the subject matter can be anything, but when I'm left to my own devices I draw eyes, faces and...alleyways in foreign countries.

I picked up a paint brush around 10 years after completing GCSE Art & Design (an English school qualification) to see if anything could happen. Sadly my painting skills aren't all there, but one day I'll go to oil painting classes, as some of my favourite art is done in oil.

When I started drawing a little later on, I noticed I had a bit of a knack for it, so I pursued it. I love learning all the techniques and habits of a good drawing artist, and I'm glad to say mine have improved since 2011.

I've started a little collection on DeviantArt. I hope you like it. Prints are available for some of the works and, on request, others may become available.
